Subway systems in South Korea
The most accessible means of transportation for wheelchair disabled people in Korea is the subway. Most subway stations are equipped with elevators, so there will be no officially unavailable stations.
South Korea has a very large metropolitan area, including Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, and subways are connected to all cities. In particular, the subway is the most convenient way to enter Seoul from Incheon Airport in Korea. In addition, low-floor buses or taxis are also available, but taxis are difficult to use wheelchairs in the trunk, and low-floor buses are often inconvenient to ride in wheelchairs. In particular, considering the traffic congestion in the Seoul metropolitan area, it is highly recommended to use the subway.
